YOGA
Though originated from ancient India, yoga has reached every corner of the modern world. One of the many purposes of yoga is to bring health to both the mind and body. According to the Harvard Health Publishing, yoga can produce a better body image, provide a boost to weight loss and maintenance, and enhance fitness. These are only a few of the many benefits listed on the school's article, "Yoga benefits beyond the mat". Amidst a pandemic, I was able to receive all these benefits thanks to yoga. Since 2020, I've been practicing and improving my skill set. Although patience and perseverance is needed, I've been constantly improving myself to bring an impressive competency.
